Welcome to the First Grade at Paradise Elementary! We have an amazing year ahead of us and I am so very excited to teach your child! I expect that we will become partners in the development of your child and that together we will help nuture learning and growing. My class is designed to meet the educational, emotional, and developmental needs of each child. My goal is to foster a learning environment in which each student will meet the objectives that have been set by the Texas Essential Knowledge Skills. This will be accomplished by providing a structured environment in which your child will learn through music, literature, exploration and practice. Thank you for allowing me to join you in your endeavor to meet the needs of your child.

I chose to teach because I love kids! Their journey in learning touches my heart every day! I have been a teacher for 22Â years. I truly believe in fostering the love of learning through a lifetime. I have been married for 25Â years to the love of my life, Andy Davis. We have one precious daughter, Kendal, who is 23Â years old. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to teach students at Paradise Elementary.
